National Parks


Wales boasts some beautiful National Parks, covering thousands of miles and approximately 20% of the country! Snowdonia, The Brecon Beacons and Pembrokeshire Coast are the three National Parks Wales has to offer; one having the highest mountain in England and Wales and one being home to the largest lake in Wales. The Parks are well managed and you are guaranteed to see clean and safe coastlines, mountains and lakes. The National Parks are great to visit when it gets dark! The Brecon Beacons was the first of our National Parks to be awarded International Dark Sky Reserve status and now Snowdonia National Park has joined the list of only 10 such reserves in the world.

Snowdonia is an area of natural beauty and offers a different kind of getaway. You will truly feel at one with nature in Snowdonia, with it's incredible scenery; mountains, lakes, rivers, forests and greenery. Whether you like to go at your own pace or want to hire an experienced instructor, Snowdonia is a perfect destination for hikers and walkers. The Brecon Beacons is full of excitement. As well as the never ending adventure, you can also enjoy the beautiful wildlife and landscapes with nature trails and birdwatching. The Brecon Beacons brings something special to Wales, with incredible architecture and inspiring archaeology, it is also well known for it's great culture and green innovations.

Pembrokeshire Coast is a great place to explore, with stunning cliffs and unforgettable coves. There are loads of opportunities to get on the water, surfing or kayaking and you can see the wildlife up front with a bit of rock pooling or pond dipping. Pembrokeshire Coast is the perfect destination for all ages, especially if you are looking to explore the natural beauty it has to offer.
